About

Hello, you! Thanks for stopping by The Thirtysomething Expat.

My name is Ashley, and I'm a travelholic, coffee-addicted, Motown-loving Californian who now proudly lives in London, my soul city.  I first came here to study for my Master's in 2012. After returning to the US and staying there for 6 years, I still couldn't shake London off, and knew I had to find a way to return. I've been back in LDN for 2 years now.

I believe, most ardently, in always following your soul's calling. We must never ignore that ever present, nudging voice within. I'm glad I didn't ignore it.

I created this space for all thirtysomething expats to share, connect, and form a community of brave adventurers who know a soul journey doesn't end in your 20s.
